Q: Does it backup automatically?
A: Yes. We typically set it up to run every night – but you can set it up to automatically run multiple times a day.
Q: Am I notified if it isn’t working?
A: Yes. If there are any errors or problems an email will be sent to the designated contact at your office. In addition you can always click on the icon to view a complete history of all backups.
Q: Can I see a History of my backups?
A: Yes. You can always click on the icon to view a complete history of all backups.
Q: What if I need to do a restore?
A: Simply call us and we can do that for you at no extra charge. Or if you prefer you can open the program and restore it yourself.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: That depends on the amount of data you choose to store. If your data exceeds the current package then you will be automatically moved up to the next level.
Q: Is it monitored?
A: We monitor it and look for any customers that have not successfully backed up for 5 days or more. Those customers will be contacted. Daily monitoring is up to the customer. We do not monitor exactly what the customer is backing up- that is up to the customer to ensure.
Q: Who will be able to see my backup?
A: No one. The backup is encrypted (256 bit encryption- super high level) and stored in a military-grade facility.
Q: Can I backup more than just Medisoft or Lytec data?
A: Yes. You decide how little or how much data you want backed up. You can also add extra data whenever you want.
Q: I’m just a small practice. Do I really need this?
A: That is for you to decide if you need it or not. We’d tell you though that no matter how big or small you are, backing up your data is incredibly important and wise. Anyone who loses data will be hurt by that one way or another.
Q: Why can’t I just backup to an external hard drive or thumb drive?
A: You can do that if you choose. We’d just caution you against doing that for the reasons listed above. An automated cloud backup from AZCOMP is more reliable, will be less work for you, is compliant and more secure than any external hard drive or thumb drive backup solution.
Q: What exactly is getting backed up?
A: This backup product is designed to back up files and folders only. When setting it up, you’ll be able to choose which files or folders you want backed up.

A: 1st- fill out the form above. 2nd- complete the agreement. 3rd- scheduling will contact you to setup an appointment. 4th- we will setup your backup. 5th- Your backup will automatically run and your credit card will be charged for the data used each month.
